Travel content either ignores them or gives figures so vague they’re useless. So here’s the honest breakdown: what it actually costs to spend 10 days in the Philippines as a digital nomad, with real numbers, in 2026.

Getting there: international flights
This varies enormously by origin. General benchmarks for return flights in 2026:
Flight benchmarks (return)
- Europe (London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt): $500–1,000 — usually via Manila, Singapore, or Kuala Lumpur.
- Australia (Sydney, Melbourne): $400–700 — Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines fly direct to Manila.
- US West Coast (LA, San Francisco): $600–900 — connections through Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore, or Manila.
- Asian hubs (Singapore, Bangkok, Tokyo, Hong Kong): $150–400.
Pro tip: Flying into Cebu (CEB) is often cheaper than Manila — and Cebu has direct domestic flights to Siargao, so you skip an extra connection.
Getting to Siargao: domestic flight
There is no direct flight from Manila to Siargao. To reach Sayak Airport (IAO), you connect via Cebu or Davao — or travel about three hours north from Manila to Clark and fly from there.

- Best option if you land in Manila: connect through Cebu or Davao
